Katzkin Leather Seats

Hi All,
I’m thinking about upgrading my 2015 Taco’s interior with Katzkin leather seats and would love to hear from anyone who has gone through this process. How was the installation? Are you happy with the product?

Also, if you’ve had experiences with other custom leather providers that you would recommend, I’d be interested in hearing about those too.

As far as I know, Katzkin wont sell direct to consumer. They only sell to upholstery shops etc so you would have to find a place to install them. They are pricey from what iv seen but super nice. I had a WRX that had them installed by the dealer and it looked and felt like a factory leather seat. Which is basically what it is.

 

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear. I have not come across any negative comments or reviews on Katzkin so I think I'm going them.

 

Had them installed on my 2020 by a local auto apolstery shop. They ordered what I wanted and installed. Took most of the day for install. Seats were unbelievably nice. Would do it again if needed.

I have had mine in for 4 years they are great .. held up well .. I purchased mine threw the dealer was around 1200 installed .

 

I would go back to the shop that installed them your seats are to loose mine didnt look like that after install . They should be tight no wrinkles like that .

 

The wrinkles were gone after the first day.

 

Katzkin will sale directly to you (consumer) and will send a fully equipped and staffed van for home install! I have a 23 Tacoma and scheduled install date in late June! Will post before and after pics when installed!

$2300.00 I have a 2023 Taco Sport 4x4 double cab! This includes 2 front bucket seats, rear bench seat, and 5 headrests! Their standard leather (solid & perforated) in red stitching! Scheduled mobile install 6-26-24! Will post pics! I'm excited! Best to you!

I ordered a set DIY install. Wasn’t easy but turned out nice and saved about $8-900.

Im just starting to look at the Katzkins. Im trying to figure out which shade of Gray matches my 2014 PreRunner SR5.

 

Did you ever get those installed?
