    Bone stock.....for the moment.
Just went out and removed the power harness from it. The actual GPS unit was WAY up in the dash under the steering wheel. I actually couldn't even see it but I could follow the wires. I'll probably leave that for a rainy day but at least the dang thing doesn't have power anymore!

Another good indicator of a dealership installed tracking device. Just noticed this sticker installed on driver side door sill. o_O

Resurrecting an old thread... I had a Kahu device installed by the dealer and had no idea it was there. It was the source of parasitic drain on my battery and theyre currently removing it. I'm more concerned as to why it was there. If the dealer didn't try to upsell me on it, what is in it for them? They claimed it was there to track vehicles in their lot to see where it was at. I dont see how that could be worth it. Are they selling the GPS information?

My dealership used it as part of a package of useless upsells. Paint and interior protection, loaner cars during service appointments, lifetime free car wash, etc.

Even if you decline it, the dealership could be receiving mileage data on your truck to target you with maintenance marketing offers. Who knows. Rip that sh*t out asap!!

Pre sale, I wouldn’t be surprised if it did help them manage their lot of cars though.

They removed it and they're very much so a dealer that likes to upsell on... everything. My problem was, they didn't upsell me on anything. I had no knowledge of it being there.
