    I just made an offer on a 2015 Tacoma Access Cab. My daughter flipped her Jeep a few weeks back on the ice. She is ready to go to a truck after the accident. It has 112,370 miles on it. We just bought a 2020 4 Runner Limited this summer for my wife. We usually buy used vehicles with less than 10,000 miles on them. We've never purchased one with this many miles. This one has very detailed records and looks new. I know these are considered bullet proof, but are there any little issues that I should be on the look out for? Can't wait to make our first mods! I'm a Jepp guy, so I don't know the most popular mods for Tacomas. Any ideas? I don't want to go crazy.

Apex 5500 winch w/synthetic line (36lbs) and required accessories for an underpowered winch (snatch blocks and extra line.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.)     Rust has been a problem with Taco's thru the generations. It's fairly new but still get under it and see how corrosion management is going. You'll want to fluid film the truck each winter if you live somewhere where they salt and brine the roads in winter. Which engine does it have... the 2.7 or 4.0? Auto or manual?

    This is coming from Oklahoma. I'm in Arkansas. It has the 4.0 with automatic. It's the same engine at my wife's 4 Runner. I'm not sure about the transmission. These are our first Toyotas. I come from a GM Family.

    I own a 3rd gen but have been monitoring the forum since 2017 and am not aware of any glaring problems with this year and combo. You probably already know it... but might as well remind you: take a long test drive and be alert for anything out of the norm. If you aren't mechanically inclined then take someone with you or hit up the regional area of the forum to find a mechanically inclined person that can assist.
