What are some " need to know/get " items? Thoughts comments and suggestions are welcome.. Ps thanks for accepting me into tacomaworld... p.s.s. the entune radio has no app feature and I think I need that to update the text to speech. or I would be ok if I can customize the quick message message list... any suggestions

    Welcome!

The first things I bought for mine were Weathertech Floor Liners and an OEM Toyota Bed Mat.

What engine/transmission configuration do you have?
    Standard, Prerunner, or 4X4?
What do you intend to do with the truck?
How much $$ you want or willing to invest in truck mods.

Check out my build thread. Plenty of things to get you started depending on what you plan to use the truck for.

I would say the best thing you can do is to spend at least a week reading on the Tacomaworld pages to get some idea of what goes on here would probably answer a lot of your questions and provide with some inspiration on which way you might want to go.

    Welcome to the forum... ;)

Welcome bro! Good choice, you will love this truck! How do you plan on using it? What's your priorities? And... Well... What's budget?

Whatever your plans are for this truck, trust me, a member has tried it before and can offer experiences. :)

No they won’t not like leds without projectors the pattern is brighter with the contours of the factory halogens. They brights are way brighter here’s a pic of low beams.

Congrats on your new truck and welcome to the forums! I may be biased but I would suggest an Xtreme Pro H4 LED Kit to improve the look of your Tacoma and brighten up your headlights.

They have been adjusted due to lift but I never get flashed. I drive a lot of backroads with jumpy deer.
