    Seen a Voodoo Blue Tacoma one at pearls a few weeks back. Thought to myself that it was a hella nice looking truck (minus the chrome bumper caps) until I got closer and seen THAT GODAMN 'SR5' EMBLEM.

    So. Much. Disappointment. :facepalm:

    Just like the dumb Texas edition they do here, I think I paid like $2k extra for the package and the only thing left on the truck is the emblems. If I wasn’t so impatient about buying a truck I could have saved myself the money by waiting for another truck to come in. Oh well.

    Aloha all! I've been wanting a Tacoma for many years...and I'm about ready to plunge head first.....glad I found this forum! I was looking at the Tacoma Waialua edition....mainly because of the color! Really caught my eye! Anyway...after reading a couple of the threads on the SR5, I'm getting the sense that it is not well liked...so wanted to see why. Maybe its just the price/features for this particular edition? I'm just getting started on the research...but my lease us up on my current vehicle in about 15 days...so I'm a little behind/short on time. Hope someone can give me good insight on the issue. The current selling price is $31K...which does not seem so outrageous given that you are getting larger tires/wheels, navigation and backup sonar/camera, along with the seat covers. And I believe it has an upgraded/larger display.
