    Hi All,

We're Chris and Scott and we're Leentu. After two years of rolling around in fiberglass and carbon fiber, swearing at computer screens, wandering around UT, NM, NV, AZ, CA and Mexico, and many many beers, we present to you what we believe is the best popup camper out there.

    Here are some highlights:

-Lightweight. No, really lightweight. Under 100lbs.
-Setup and break down in seconds. Like 15 seconds. Speed camping.
-Integrated solar panel powering onboard electric goodies like interior and exterior LEDs, vent fan and USBs.
-Super comfy sleeping bunk with ultra high quality foam mattress.
-A ton of headroom. Almost 7 feet. Stand up and be comfortable. No crawling around.
-Full height rear door. Don't hit your head first thing in the morning on your way out to make coffee.
-Most streamlined, lowest profile popup out there. Your baby will still fit in the garage.
-High quality, heavy duty, 100% waterproof and windproof tent.

Thanks for looking and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or comments. render_landing_2017-Jun-24_01-29-02AM-000_CustomizedView11900110306.jpg web desert overhead.jpg

Looks great......you guys do color matching?

Just noticed on your website that it's for LB models only....would be sweet if you could shorten it for the 5ft bed crowd

Those look like photoshopped concept images, neither of them looks real.

How is a sub-100lb pop up tent going to hold up in high wind?

It appears that you are attempting to market this to the "Overland" community, however most of the photos that appear to be real-no-crap-photos are of it around San Francisco. (ironically not far from what most people in this country define as "overlanding").........Exactly how well are these going to hold up over hundreds or thousands of miles over sand, dirt, gravel and rock?

Not trying to be a dick, just some things I noticed, it'll be interesting to see how it makes out if it goes into production.

    Hey @logcabinwc,

    Thanks for the reply!
Lots of pics/video on our instagram @leentuoutdoors and some more info on our website www.leentu.com.

We're going to offer two main versions:

-A tailored composite carbon fiber, fiberglass and nomex version for an estimated $10,900
-A premium, full carbon and nomex honeycomb version for an estimated $14,500

Both are made with prepreg cloth using the autoclave process in precision, CAD designed molds.

Is there an actual photo you have instead of a computer rendering? Looks like if it is what you guys said it is you struck gold.

    @tetten and @whalers25 @crisanalex

We're both east coast transplants living in the bay area so yes, SF scenery is the easiest for us to hit, especially when we both have day jobs. Gotta eat.

We've built a couple of prototypes ourselves and our production composite parts were developed in conjunction with and are being manufactured by a company that builds, among other things, indycars. The CF and nomex risers are EXTREMELY strong and stiff, much stronger than you would see in a traditional popup. The limiting factor in high wind will likely be the tent, not the composite bits and we will be testing the full assembly into the 50's before shipping. I think if it was blowing at 55 most of us would just crawl in the back and pass out anyway but I may be wrong.

Having said all that, we've done a lot of testing on our prototypes and haven't had any wind related issues. Our dopey prototype tents sewn by an idiot (me) have been well into the 30's and did fine, as did our fiberglass bodies.

Currently on pre-order and releasing this summer (Summer 2017 per website)?

Forgive the skepticism on this forum - we all naturally have it after being burned by various kickstarters/startups that never got to production (the latest being Kanoa). Lots of promise, no product.

The max wind for a $15k carbon fiber setup would be 50-55mph or kmh?

The molds are a huge investment for each model so we can't release them all at once (as much as I would like to). The plan has always been to hit the 5 foot next. We need to sell a few long beds first though. Yes to color match.

Haha, we welcome it. It helps us be better. We will be testing the full assembly to at least 50mph.

Preorder will be up over the next month. Units will ship in time for summer 2018.
