After watching Edmunds take the Ridgeline to the race track in DV I can only insult its exterior appearance lol

Honestly, the Ridgeline is what like 80% of suburia truck peole NEED, but not WANT. They just have to make it look better and get their sales pitch in order. Toyota is eating their lunch because of the "emotional" side of vehicle purchasing.

If I needed a simple/modern DD truck, I would seriously think about the Ridgeline.

#1 is an Odyssey with a bed and #2 is a brand new vehicle with no track record... Makes sense to me!! This is the exact reason why I don't trust "professional" reviews of anything.

This right here had me laughing at work and getting weird looks from my coworkers!

This is an ongoing shift in fake news. I dont know why these companies are risking their reputation. I can only imagine they are doing it for the clicks

I'm thinking a Ridgeline with a 396 L78 or 454 LS6 would still be pretty badass. Imagine pulling up to the light in a Ridgeline with cam lope.

    No doubt!

I had the 2017 Ridgeline for 4 months before my Tacoma. C&D is not wrong. Ridgeline is a better vehicle overall and beats the Tacoma on many fronts including fuel econ, interior room, payload capacity, driving dynamics etc. I like my Tacoma better due to reasons that are hard to put in numbers.

If I were in the market for a new truck the Ridgeline would be a serious contender. Honda has a great reputation for relibility and for my uses a Ridgeline would probably be a better truck than my Tacoma. And, the jeep looks damn cool and would be a contender as well. Being a previous jeep owner, I am more than aware of their crappy reliability. But top and doors off on a nice spring day can only be surpassed by riding a motorcycle.

Toyota has been the only game in town for a while and it shows. The 3rd gen is just a warmed over 2nd gen and they deserve their 5th place showing.

    ^yup^

    ^and yup^
