Was wondering if you guys are running these without having to take off the rear cubby’s? And how much bass they can give out

It may, depending on how high on the back wall the car seat latch points are. I think it will though

I have the JL and it hits HARD for an 8 inch. I was blown away by the power in that little boy. Well worth the price IMO.

I have two of JL 8". Pounds hard. I ran one for a while but couldn't pass up a deal on the second. You have to remove the plastics fits perfect.

Yes you can latch the seats.

Yup both ported and 2ohms 500 watts. I'd say it's comparable to a 1 x10" ported . But with our lack of space the 8 ported box seems to have been basically made for the double cab.

7FB9E893-1312-48EF-B057-75228CE3462A.jpg I was like you, I wanted to run a sub without removing the back panels. After a few days of measuring and going between setups, this is what I ended up with.

I had to trim the tray so the enclosure could fit and some of the panel at the bottom just Incase the sub bounced into it. Not ideal since you’re modifying the panel. At this point it’s better to remove the panel (since the whole point is to avoid major alterations to Oem components) and run a better sub, but it is what it is now. Overall I’m happy with it.

Here’s the setup if you’re interested
    - Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Amp
    - Pioneer TS-SW2502S4 10" Sub
    - Pioneer UDSW250T Enclosure

I had the JBL system so the back of my seat is different. I will try and take a picture tomorrow where we cut and tried to make it as clean as we could.

If you’re going for power get the kicker over the 8w3v3 but if you’re looking for sound quality and accuracy get the JL and put 300wrms to it and it’ll love it. The JL is a very good 8” sub. I’ve got a focal flax evo 8” right now in the ported microsub JL box and it’s even better than the 8w3v3 for accuracy. It doesn’t “hit” like the little JL though. I know it’s rated for 250 btw I had one for 10 months before going with shallow 12tw3
