There are certainly more experienced and qualified people on here to answer, but here is my $0.02.

That sub is rated for 400w RMS at 2ohms, and that amp is rated at 1000w RMS at 2 ohms. At more than doubling the power it's rated for, you are way outside the warranty (JL's site states the 10TW3 is warrantied up to 500W RMS) , and I wouldn't expect a long life out of that sub.

Also, are you building a whole system? Using the factory headunit? What year Tacoma? JBL or non-JBL?

I have this Sub and it sounds amazing. Especially once it breaks in .
400 real watts is the sweet spot for the stealth box and once you get tuned in it rattles my rear view mirror . At the same time it’s clean and tight. It’s not a big sounding boomey speaker if that’s what your looking for. I’m into classic rock and it sound great

i think i recorded this with my GoPro Hero 7, so not the best but you get an idea. there is plenty of thump, its not going to win any SPL competitions but it makes my ride more enjoyable for sure

I have put in Racesport gen3 leds I'm the process of doing a custom audio overhaul which will include Hybrid audio unity 6x9 mid bass, unity 3 inch mid driver in the dash and fiberglassing tweets in pilar soundeading all the doors, floors, and headliner and I will be using a helix processor to retain the factory radio and as far as subs I might make custom brackets to move rear seat foward a few inches to get a full size sub in there or I might just go with a pair of jl tw5 or tw3 and it will all be powered by jl audio HD amps or I might try out the new hybrid amps
It’s a good amp your going to have a lot of headroom which is a good thing your amp will work less to provide the power needed for that subwoofer, you will need to tune it properly though so you don’t blow it

just turn the infrasonic filter on and send it.

blowing speakers just doesn't happen as often as everyone makes it seem like.
