It’s fishing season, post you truck setup

Interested in all fishing truck setups, fly fishing, bait casting, night fishing, surf setups. Post those pics to inspire the rest of us. Anything you have done to mount, transport, organize your fishing gear in your truck, let’s see em. I’m sure there are some original ideas the rest of us could steal.

I’ve always fished in a boat or off a dock. I think that is typical where I live.

Out of curiosity, why not use the topper rack for the poles?

 

On one canoeing trip in the boundary waters canoe area wilderness in northern Minnesota, my buddy brought several full sized standard fishing poles. What a nightmare they were to deal with. I ended up with a hook in my lip (not my fault). We did manage to make one good fish dinner though. I think compact hiking fishing poles would be a better option.

 

I just bought a fishing license today for the first time in quite a few years. I'm going camping tomorrow on a lake that's part of the colombia river and I'm going to catch and release some smallmouth bass. The wife has her book and a floaty for the lake. Wish me luck.

There are nine lakes / ponds near my mountain cabin and I have deeded access to all of them. The best part is few fish them but me! So when I'm not fly fishing for trout in nearby cold water streams, I am fly fishing for bluegill and bass in those ponds out of my kayak. So much fun!

I departed home for a couple days of Fla surf fishing right after this picture.
Rods and fishing gear on the roof rack. Only caught two fish (whiting) but still had a blast.

 

Pretty simple setup. 17' metal boat w/ 70hp yamaha. Mostly fish for crappie (we call them white perch in north Louisiana), with the occasional catfish & chinquapin trip. Truck had the raptor lights when I bought it, they've since been removed. And I've put bigger ridge grapps on it. Favorite truck so far!

Not a tacoma. But pretty simple setup.

270 awning.
Fridge.
Solar.
Recovery gear with on board air.
And a couple Grand worth of Penn hardware in the 10' and 12' flavors.

 

No more fishing for me I'm done

 

Just never have gotten the setup. Would be pretty convenient.
