Anyone have an issue with the caliraised cat shields contacting the black support bars? The shields are pushed up as high as they can go and there is no way to make them not touch.

Hammer, or maybe loosen the support bars and then see if there is any room for adjustment on them and re tighten.

I used the millercat. No issues no noise. But like the others said…. Only one way to fix that contact. Massage it with a dead blow hammer

When i installed my rci transmission skid with cat guards, I had to remove those support bars. It said it was not needed.

I just put mine on yesterday. Mine are touching in the same spot as well. I didn't think is was that big of a deal. I haven't driven the truck much, but heard no sounds on my after install test drive. I even drove like I stole it for a few turns...

If it rattles, maybe put some duck tape on the contact points.

I’d just mark them at that area then grind off a bit of the shield so there is no contact. If it’s not making noise though, let it ride.

Did you buy them from caliraised? Just wondering why they don’t have caliraised logo but instead have Tacoma beast

Tacomabeast has them on their website with either the Caliraised logo or the Tacomabeast logo. I prefer the TB logo

If the guard is aluminum there will eventually be galvanic corrosion. Just be aware of that.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don’t get all triggered about that Tacomabeast shit. Yeah I think it was wrong and I don’t agree with what they did, but that’s not gonna stop me from buying a product with their logo if I like the way it looks more.

They still haven't apologized for vandalizing a wilderness area.

Until then they deserve contempt and scorn and certainly no business.

It's a non issue. Both the shield and support bolt to the same frame. Your support is touching and sandwiching the shield just inches away from where you're worried about contact.

I have the original version and it touches the drivers side cat. The exhaust is rubber mounted and can move independently frome the frame and shield and that hasn't even been an issue.
