The truck I bought came with rhino lining in the bed and along the sides of the trucks bottom panels. I noticed there are a few chips where the lining has come off of the truck. Is there a way to just buy some roll on rhino lining to fix this? Or is there some more prep involved?

Here's a picture of what I'm looking at fixing. There is another spot as well.

I'd scuff it and roll it

I've never used roll on bedliner, will it be as thick on the first roll or will I need to put on a few layers?

I've only done a work truck. But it will probably take a coat or 2. Do one, wait and if it looks off hit it again.

@Dangorah if you end up going that route, let me know how it turns out. I have some similar chipping I’d like to take care of.

Just remember, prep work is key. Tape off everything you don't want bed liner on.the stuff is unforgiving..

Go to AutoZone and they sell small cans of bedliner specifically for touch ups. Just use a small rolling brush or regular brush and touch up the spots that need it.

Or, if you really want to get it done quick...just get the spray can bedliner and hit the bare spots with that. Either way, be careful not to get it on your truck where you don't want it to go...once it dries it's hard to get off (acetone and some scrubbing well usually get it off).

The spray can stuff usually isn't as rough or gritty as the roll on bedliner...so if you have to touch up some pretty big areas it may look funny if you mix the two.

Most spray on places give a lifetime warranty on the liners. I'm not sure if that applies to a 2nd owner.

My line-x had a lifetime warranty against chips, but I’m the second owner so I can’t have it repaired for free.
