I've used the search function for some way to program it but came up blank. All my other cars's doors all lock once I get to 8 miles ph or something like that. I do miss that feature. Is there a way to do this on the tacoma? I have a 2015 by the way

It's not a feature offered on the Tacoma.

The dealer installed alarm does it. As does most aftermarket alarms.

My truck has the dealer alarm and all the doors lock when I put the trans into drive.

My aftermarket alarm does it after I move the truck. And after I get out and close the doors 30sec later it locks, which is awesome.

So I did more searching and found this posted in the cheap DIY mods on TW (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cheap-free-mods.4838/page-8) From a 2008 post though so who knows:

The second programming option allows you to set the doors to lock when when the key is turned on, and unlock when the key is turned off.
    1. Open the driver's door. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
    2. (Complete these steps within 30 seconds)
    A. Insert the key into the ignition switch.
    B. Close, then open the driver's door 2 times.
    (SHUT - OPEN - SHUT - OPEN)
    C. Turn the key from LOCK to ON 5 times, ending at ON
    (LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON)
    3. Programming option (select one of the following).
    A. [Ignition controlled lock ON] Close the driver's door.
    B. [Ignition controlled lock OFF] Close the driver's door twice, leaving it closed.
    (SHUT - OPEN - SHUT)
    4. Turn the key to LOCK. The programming is complete. If programming did not occur, start over.

Pisses my mom off too. I think it's a little safer when you live in a place where there's a high chance of car jackings.

I like the auto locking cause I've forgotten to lock my car a few times.

Won't work I tried every Youtube video, google search suggestion. Mine with my remote start locks my doors as soon as I start it, and unlocks all doors as soon as I shut it off. Had to get it programmed that way though

    @OZ-T

Maybe we should arrange some hot unicorn on unicorn action? We could make millyuns.
