Is there a setting for the fake turbo/engine noise? I don't hear it!

Sounds like the VW he has doesn’t do a good job of supplying cold air when the engine is stopped.

 

Each manufactor has different programming for when to disable auto start stop - hvac temp set to lowest or highest, engine temp cold, heated seats on, headlights and wipers on, ac fan on high speed, gear selector position, estimated battery strength, time since previouse start/stop, many other things.

Edit - fake engine noise via sound system is some bullshit, I believe ford does/did it for the I4 2.3 turbo so it would sound like the V8 5.0
