Is Summit racing equipment good to order from?

Wondering how Summit racing equipment is for ordering from. I see by review searching all over the web, a low rating, but that doesn't mean much these days.

So I'm turning here, the guys who order more on the Tacoma money pit.

I'm buying name brand parts and see summit has the best pricing on them and free shipping.

When ordering:
Do you get the right stuff from them? Is it shipped on time? Does it come packaged properly or is it beat up?
Any other pros or cons?

I’ve never had any issues ordering from there shipped or picking up locally. I’m not in Canada though.

 

I'm in Canada and can recommend summit no issue. Rock auto same thing. Good to go.

 

Sorry I should have stated. I have an address I ship goods to in the US and pickup every month.
So basically just US sales order.

 

Been using summit for 30 years. No issues and grew up local to the OG store.

I ordered something from there this past summer, no issues I think it took maybe two days via UPS ground. If the items are in stock you should be good.

 

Been using Summit for Nova stuff for years. No issues.

 

I've used them maybe just short of a dozen times. Awhile back they sent me a wrong muffler one time (I ordered a 2" in/out, they sent me a 2½"). The return was hassle-free (they included a return shipping label), though it did delay my project several days. That aside, no problems.

 

No issues for me, but it has been quite a few years since I ordered from them.
I went to the store in Sparks NV once too, that was pretty cool.

 

I have been restoring cars since the early 1980s and Summit Racing and Jegs Performance are both excellent choices to order from. I only live 8 miles from the Akron store and visit there often. I cant really complain about either one. I only remember one incident with Summit about returns but that was many years ago. I have ordered items through both stores and visited both of them. The visit to the Akron Store is awesome with all the cars hanging from the ceilings and walls. They even have 2 on spinning turnstiles in the entrance. I have restored 6 cars and spent thousands of dollars buying parts at both stores over the years. No issues with service, knowledge, or deliveries.

 

I ordered my All Pro front bumper through Summit, not only was it cheaper than the All Pro website they also offered free shipping. Had it at my door in 9 days.

 

I never had issues but were going back pre Covid .

Every thing has changed and not for the good.

I had ordered through Summit Racing many times the items were shipped direct from the manufacture.

No issues with Summit racing for the last 30 yrs I've ordered and bought parts from them . I've never had to wait more than 1.5 days for my parts to be delivered to me
