The old 2015 Tacoma according to motor trend would roast your 2017.

Hence, the truck has to perform on paved roads. We began at the track. With 0-60 mph and quarter-mile acceleration times of 7.7 and 16.1 seconds (the latter with a trap of 84.7 mph), the Tacoma TRD Pro is a few clicks off the pace of a comparably appointed 2012 TRD T|X Baja Series (7.6, 16.0).

I don't know about that, its going to be close for one of the slowest drag races going.

Not that it matters but I think anyone that's had a 2nd gen then a 3rd gen will say the 3rd is Faster in real world driving and

Agree. Been in my 2020 for a little over a year now after 8 years in my 2012 DCSB.
My 2012 was a Sport and my 2020 is a Pro. The Pro seems faster (butt dyno) especially once your past 3,000 rpm's.
