    Thanks, Didn't realize it was that expensive. I'm use to the $100 kits you change a few check balls around. At $1,000 I think I will wait till my tranny is shoot. If I was boosted it would make more sense.

    If you want better engagement and lock up, you could simply turn in the slu solenoid 1/4 to 1/2 turn. I ran mine that way for a long time

    There is a pressure set screw on " some " of the A750E SLU solenoids that can be turned in 1/4 turn to increase your torque converter apply pressure . In most cases this procedure is performed when the converter has been shuddering for long periods of time and a complete fluid change with Lubeguard additive makes little change to the shuddering due to the converter clutch surface being all glazed up .Sometimes even adding fresh fluid with brand new friction modifiers has poor results .
    I wouldnt go more than 1/4 of a turn mind you .
    Not all models of the A750E series transmission have an adjustable pressure set screw on the SLU solenoid .

    Didn't notice one on mine but I didn't know about it either. I wish lockup was more aggressive post-SC install.

    Good to know. I have no problems with my trans, firmer shifts would be nice but otherwise its great.
