Ipad mount

    I'm trying to mount an iPad to my truck. Not to replace the radio but to have it near the center console somewhere. I've done some research and emailed RAM mounts but they said they have nothing for a tacoma. I've seen pictures of mounts near the AC vents or one that mount to the seat rail. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    I made this for my phone a while back. You could probably get away with doing something similar for an iPad, maybe add a little more of a bend to the top section for rigidity.

    You can clean the oil off of your iPad and Tacoma touchscreen with alcohol wipes then put clear packing tape on the back of the iPad (if you don’t have a iPad case which I would recommend in case it falls off romping etc.) then use double sided suction cups.
    I recommend using 4 of them or it will jiggle around a lot.
    On an iPhone you can create a mobile hotspot and have the iPad mirror to your phone to have as Google Maps and Messages and Phone and Siri and everything to bypass the Tacoma’s clunky interface.

    There are also plug and play adapters for the stock head unit to connect your phone directly to the touchscreen via lightning cable for iOS or MicroUSB for Android to mirror your phone.

    minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
    RAM also has a mount platform wedging between central console and passenger/driver seat. You figure out lenghts and number of extensions you need...
    No holes drilling required, seats tight, not too much vibrations. My choice, can recommend!
