I actually really like this, especially considering the plastic around the window switches looks so cheap. It definitely adds a rugged look. Did you tape it off and spray, or use a brush?

I actually popped the panel off and just used an aerosol spray can of bed liner

Solid work, I may go this route down the road. That cheap, flexible plastic on the window switch is the cheapest looking part of the interior, and this fixes it.

I may put in a dark grey carpet as well, light grey just isn't appealing to me/:

You may also look into Rustoleum "textured finish" along with their clear, I have used this combo on a lot of stuff and it is extremely durable for uses like this, I found the can of bedliners I have used have had a softer feel that I could scrape with my fingernail, the rustoleum is cheaper and harder finish you wont be able to scrape with a fingernail.

I've never been impressed with rustoleum products. It runs easily, so I've had to be tons of thin coats to avoid runs. Literally like 5-10, not a fan lol.

I actually prefer something with a bit of a softer feel. If it's easy, it can always be touched up.

huh, thats too bad, I love the stuff and have never had any issues with runs, I get good coverage with 3 medium coats and usually add a light coat of their clear over that, followed by another very light coat of the textured finish so it isnt so glossy, have stuff that I painted this way 3 years ago that sits outside and it has been solid.

If you like a softer feel Im sure you have heard of plastidip, im just not a fan of that stuff.

I have never used plasti-dip, but I like the texture of the bed liner. I could do a little experiment and try putting a clear over that, and see if it holds (on plywood obviously, not on the truck as an experiment lol).

I was thinking yesterday how cheap the interior door handles look. Having them Line x might be cool.

Blue is one of the most "exciting" colors for the human eye because our eyes do not respond to it particularly well--we have difficulty focusing on it because of that. But it does get our brains moving trying to figure out WTF is being presented. This is also why many HID headlamp systems are inferior to plain ol' halogen lamps, our overall sensitivity peaks in the green/yellow spectrum¹. Kind of like the color temperature of a wood fire in a cave...

human eye overall sensitivity to "color"

    -----------------------------------
¹ - This is why a 70W low pressure sodium lamp (those "orange" lamps you often see) can make "so much light" on so little power--in dim lighting (like looking for the sabre-tooth tiger prowling around the cave entrance) our eyes like that color light--it's all there was for 30,000 years or so...
