I followed the instructions to the “T” and now both the interior lights (map light and dome light) don’t turn on. Could the issue be a blown fuse or something, if so where is the fuse box on a 2014 Tacoma? Thanks

The fuse is labelled DOME and should be 7.5 Amp Rated. In the fuse panel under the hood.
Supplies both Dome and map Lights.

Another one gets bitten by the old LED Bug.

Throw that crap out and install regular bulbs. Geez.

I second checking fuses. Also make sure all connections are nice and tight.

Awesome thanks for your advice, I’ll have to make a trip to autozone because I don’t have any fuses to replace it. I’ll post an update to let y’all know if that was the problem.

LEDs done right work very well. People who are against LEDs apparently have never done it right. I have LEDs in everything except headlights and fog lights. My turn signals, brake lights, and reverse lights are blindingly bright. I drive with the confidence that if people can't tell I'm turning or stopping, they should be walking with a white cane.

Pull the fuse, remove the map lights, rotate them 180 degrees, and reinstall.

Not sure why you're saying this. I got mine from a vendor here on TW years ago. I plugged them in and they have been fine and without issue ever since. Much brighter than the stock bulbs. Very happy with them.

What’s the benefit of led lights in the interior?

If you forget and leave them on all night, your battery won't be dead in the morning.

That's a fact, back when I did mine I left the dome light on all night. Left the switch in the wrong position. When I found it in the morning, the truck started just fine.

Can you buy just one dome light?

+1. LEDs are MUCH brighter than stock. I convert all my vehicles to interior LEDs. Older eyes appreciate brighter light. I went from perfect vision to virtually low-light blind when I hit middle age - happens to most of us.

I'm saying it because that is my opinion and backed up by the many threads on here of people having issues with LED Lights. For the few times I do turn on the interior lights I can see just fine and I'm at the edge of 65 years old.

To each his own. You have your opinion and I have mine.
