I'm rehabbing a Black '97 4x4 and need some help with the interior.

It's "Oak", but that seems to mean that no one has parts for it. I need to know what the SEM paint colors are for the various plastic parts so I can paint whatever I buy myself. And I also need to know what the color of the carpet is called. I found a site that can make a carpet kit, but they don't list an Oak color, and I don't want to guess wrong.

I also need some interior parts, but haven't had much luck there either.

    Any help is appreciated.

I found that carpet kits are avaaible, but don't know what color the carpet is in an OAK interior. Anyone? They offer several colors that look close, but I don't want to end up with a funky looking color match.

Yes, but how does that code equate to the carpet colors listed by aftermarket makers of carpet? That's the disconnect I'm trying to solve. I know the interior is Oak (black exterior).

I don't have your answer (sorry) but this will surely vary by vendor, and perhaps even by dye lot; this is the downside of aftermarket. If you're painting parts yourself, it would probably be wise to paint all adjacent parts at the same time, insofar as the junctions between trim panels will be obvious. Different batches of paint along with slightly different prep, and even weather conditions could affect the final product.

Have your tried contacting vendors? Maybe they are familiar enough with Toyota oak interior that they can steer you in the right direction. Can you buy swatches of carpet to evaluate before you commit? Can you test a couple of SEM colors and see which one matches best? Relying on someone else's opinion of a close match may result in disappointment.

Us your truck a Regular cab or extra cab? I have a tan/oak carpet in good shape (could use a cleaning) out of a 98 regular cab.

AmherstAndy - I talked to Stock Interiors and they suggested getting samples to compare, which I did. I decided to just wait and do it right the first time.

Tour991 - that is the right color for sure, but I have an extended cab SR5.

I know this is old, but I'm thinking about doing the same, what color did you go with for the ACC replacement?

If you don’t get an answer I recently ordered swatches for an Oak interior and while I can’t tell you what color it is, I can definitely tell you what it is not

Will post swatch codes when I get home

StockInteriors numbers 8295, 8835, and 851 did not match my ‘04 regular cab with interior trim code FZ45 and none were even close

I started thinking maybe I'd just go black or something and not worry about it :D. I don't care if it matches the old one exactly, I just want it to look decent with the rest of the colors.
