Just got them in the mail today. While reading the instructions, I noticed that it said to torque each bolt to 15 lbs/ft. I don't have a torque wrench, and prefer not to buy one. I'm a strong guy, and I'm positive I can generate 15 ft/lbs, but is there any danger to OVER tightening these bolts when installing?

15lbs isn’t much. Just use your best judgment and don’t go crazy with the muscles

I would just tighten them using a good amount of your strength. I wouldn't tighten to the point where the bolt start sinking into the washers. But just make it nice and tight. They wont come off.

Congrats on the N-Fab's. Mine have been on for about 3 years now. They still look like the day I bought em for the most part.

Can you take a few more photos? I have been considering these or the OEM. I would like to see a side view. I have had a hard time finding photos of Tacomas with the Predators Pros.

Get the OEM ones. They pop up for sale on Craigslist all the time. They fit great, the others are very small round bars, to me cheap looking and don't fit very flush. Not trying to piss anyone off but that's the way I see them.

Those look like the OEM Predators? I've seen those and tried them at the dealer. I would really like to see the N-Fab Predator Pro steps. The look more angular, and they look like they fit closer to the body. The step surface looks like it has raised slats instead of raised holes. But, I cannot see them well enough to tell in the photos available.

How much muscle fiber did you end up engaging to torque the bolts? We're waiting.

Do these stick out far enough to protect from door dings?

Would depend on the car. Cars, yes. SUVs and trucks, no. Basically it would depend on whether or not the door was above the step.

I like that they don't stick out far enough to protect from door dings. Because if they did, I would also drag the back of my pants on them and transfer the dirt onto my pants. It looks like these fit better against the body than OEM.
