    Hello,

I am new to this form and was looking for some help. I am wanting to buy and install a roof top tent and mount it on the roof of my Tacoma. I would appreciate any guidance (on roof rack or tent) but mostly looking for roof rack recommendations / suggestions.

    Thanks

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I’d love some kind of exo cage rack where I could carry 4x8 sheets horizontally (and loaded from the curb side) above the hood but I guess no one gives a shit. Edit: and welcome to TW!

The roof of the tacoma is not meant to hold weight, and it looks kinda jank with a roof up there, as well as the high center of gravity. Go with a bed rack instead

    welcome aboard.

Why does everyone drive around with all that stuff when they aren't even camping?

Haha I don't know. Probably because they are lazy, or because it looks cool. I take my tent off when I'm not using it, especially because I have a 4 wheeler I put in the back from time to time. But I will say it'll take me a few weeks sometimes to get the tent off after a trip
