    Hello,
Can anyone advise me how to install a Backrack brand headache, on my 2021 Toyota? There are no specific videos Iknow of. And I don’t want to start cutting holes randomly.
    Any help appreciated.

Their site can help you narrow down what rack and bracket kit you need. For my 2018 (2021 should be the same) the brackets just bolt to the bed rails with 3 large track bolts on each side. The rack then drops into the brackets and is secured with two large carriage bolts. No drilling or messing with the truck required and 100% removable. This is my experience without any tonneau cover.

Thank you. I will be getting a tool box. I haven’t decided on that brand yet so I’m going to get that bracket. I spoke to the Backrack rep and he told me what to get. But no install advice? The video they have is a Chevy, and the holes on are different on the Tacoma. I also have the factory bed liner so I can’t see shite. I may take the wheel well cover off and see what’s going on. That seems easier then pulling that hard liner off. Thanks again for the replies and pics.

The rack uses anchor plates that go in the adjustable tie down rail. No drilling required. That why the bracket costs as much as the rack itself. Took me about 10 minutes to set mine up and then probably another 5 minutes to set the rack and tighten everything down. It has saved my cab and rear window a couple of times already. Long ladders, wood, and a shelf that slid forward because the composite bed has no traction. Well worth the money. Also adds a good restraint tie down point and a handle for me to grab onto to climb into the bed
