Hi All. Newbie wrencher here. I'm taking on my biggest vehicle project yet and replacing my tie rods. Looking forward to the challenge.

I'm searching for a solid answer to this question: Are the inner and outer tie rods the same for both the left and right side?

While you're at it, any brand suggestions? I've seen some folks recommend Moog and 555 for tie rods.

    I have a 2012 Tacoma 4WD.

    Thanks for the help.

^Yes left and right are the same. 555 inner tie rods are slightly beefier than OEM, so they are preferred. Moog, Mevotech, etc. are serviceable but likely won't last as long.
