So ive been wheel shopping, searched pages and pages here. Thought i had come to a decision PTR20-35110 GR, the grey 4Runner Alloy wheels. Then i saw the PTR20-35110 G4, an aluminum Wheel. Slight color diff between the two. I could not find weight of the alum wheel, the Alloy is 24-25 lbs. Anyone have any info on the Alum version? Weight, quality, difference in running Alum wheel and Alloy wheel?
They will go on my white 2016 long bed TRD Sport Tacoma. I finally wore out the Firestone station wagon tires. Thanks!

Its a real Toyota part number. I know these have been out for a while. My local dealer Toy of Glendora only had the black and the bronze to see/touch. I cant be the 1st to buy them.

Oh, ok. The gloss gunmetal. Yes, I’ve seen several people post those up. Check the sema wheel threads.

Those gloss gunmetal wheels are pretty bad ass. If it were me, I would not be worried about the weight difference.

Thats the thread that sold me on the Gray. I didnt see any one speak of the differences Alum V. Alloy. The Alum are a little more $$.

Yea, I considered them, but found a good deal on the original black. But the gloss gunmetal are pretty sweet. I wouldn’t worry about weight difference or anything else. Whatever grey one you like, you should get.

Look at the item description. Both are aluminum.

It's the same wheel, different finishes, as seen by the part numbers. The bronze ends in F5.

Thanks for response. Why is the G4 described as a cast wheel. I had assumed the others are forged. Are they all Cast wheels?

Aluminum wheels are all alloy. If they were just aluminum, no alloying metals, they would yield/crumble immediately.

If they are both genuine Toyota wheels, is almost certain that they are the same wheels with different finish/paint.

    Update.
So i talked Longo Toyota into ordering a set of the G4 and GR and in person the color is the same on each. The only diff is gloss V. Matte and the price on the gloss is higher. Is gloss powdercoat more expensive? Every dealer i called within a 50 mile radius has a different price. Do your due diligence in shopping. BAM wholesale the best price i could find online but shipping kills that deal for me. I ordered at my local dealer with a buddies company invoice. $171.32 each. Thanks for all the help!!

I imagine the gloss is easier to keep clean. And is a newer offering, so might be why they are a little more money.

Gloss is way harder to keep clean in my opinion. I have the matted finish and they are great, look new still after 3 years.

Maybe, I was just going by the glossy black on my sport wheels were easier to keep clean than my matte sema. But who knows

The gloss will show more dirt.
