Has anybody had real world experience using these inflatable jacks? I see a few on Amazon that all seem to be from a generic import company and have not come across any from reputable manufacturers. What really throws me off is that they come with gloves. Like who is offroading and doesnt carry gloves? It seems like more of an emergency kit than a real option but its a really tempting idea.

A friend of mine was an EMT for the local volunteer fire/rescue squad near us in rural Ohio (1985). They had a larger version of this little bag and he used it one night to lift a loaded semi-trailer off a crushed car (with occupant). Ambulance exhaust provided the pressure - and a passerby had chunks of unsplit oak firewood they used for "jack stands". He crawled in and attended to the fellow until heavier equipment arrived (John Deere tractor) to pull the trailer over. Bob Anderson was a Vietnam era med-evac medic and mostly fearless - good to remember him on veterans day.......
