Inferno orange or red?

I see so many people refer to the inferno as “inferno red” but imo it’s obviously orange that just looks a shade of red according on sunlight or the time of day. What color would you classify inferno as?

 

I refer to the MGM as the most boring and a color that seems like everybody has.

This thread is a disaster.

 

It is straight up burnt orange - though in pictures it tends to often look red.

 

OP is correct in that late in the day, the sun makes it look red. Other than that 2ish hour window, its clearly orange.

 

Yep, in person there is no mistaking it for anything but orange. I still find it odd that it tends to often look dark red in pictures, though.

 

I just call it 'poppin'​

 

Depends on the light. When it's overcast it looks more red. When its sunny definitely an orange with some yellow or gold flakes.

It's one of those "love-it or hate-it" colors. Most people are one way or the other on "infernal orange" unlike white which is a "I can take it or leave it " color.

I know I am not using the correct spelling but this is the way I feel about the color.
But it all comes down to what the individual buying the truck likes --That's all that really matters.
I am sure a lot of people don't like my blue -- makes no difference to me!

Sunny = orange pearl

Badass color if you ask me. Not very common on vehicles, if at all.

I don't understand dumping on someones color choice. Personally, I'd rather have an Inferno door, a Quicksand door, a Barcelona door, a White door, a MGM hood, a Black tailgate and a Blazing Blue body than drive anything other than a Tacoma.

 

Toyota has a few colors on the taco that seem to have more than one consistent personality. The cavalry blue is always blue, but seems to change depending on lighting, and time of day.
