I replaced all four in May 21. A month ago the #2 cylinder coil went out now the number three cylinder coil is bad. I did use very cheap replacements from online. Is there something that may be causing them to go bad or is just a case of you get what you pay for?

I’m going lean on the you get what you pay for. Coils generate high voltages to drive spark plugs, and high voltages are a pain in the ass to deal with. So any little defect in their manufacturing is going to cause issues.

Thank you for the link…the Dealer would not or could not tell me the Oem…so I ordered through them and then returned it to make sure I got the quality needed. They charged $266 and I found it on Rock Auto for $45….but I will buy direct from Denso if I need to in the future.

Thank you for the advice. I replaced the coil today and everything runs fine. I did use a Delphi coil. The Mom and Pop parts store I like to use swore that would be good and gave me a return guarantee. I was in a time crunch but in the future I will order direct from Denso.
