anyone know what the idle speed for the 2.7 is? I can't find it in my haynes book, and does the ECM control that?

Same as above. Cold starts around 1400 RPM, drops to 1000 after 30 seconds then settles in at 650.

600-700 RPM at operating temp in park/neutral, it will be slightly lower in gear and slightly higher with the A/C on.

PCM controls idle speed based on coolant temp, electrical load, whether or not the A/C is on, and if the transmission is in gear or not.

Are you having an issue or why do you ask?

DM93 I was having the oil light come on for a bit, I think the ECM is just relearning things. the RPMS drop down low and it come on. I don't think it's a issue
also you were right about my oil control valve being stuck, got that p0012 and then I got a p0011 so I taped on it and it came back to life so it was sticking good call
