I pulled my throttle body off to clean it and service the IACV. It's a 1995, 2.4L., F2RZ engine. The IACV bypass hose simply reconnects back on to the throttle body, so there is no connection at all to the engine coolant system. It makes no sense at all. Is this correct and if so, what great engineering mind devised this and why? The only other coolant lines are the two that run up to the EGR sensor. There are no other coolant connections. Please see the attached picture of current hose routing. Does someone have one...what does the IACV bypass hose(s) route to? Help...!
