I’ve had my truck for almost year and just realized that it displays a Doppler Radar weather report. I pressed talk and said “show Doppler weather map.”

    Seriously. Had. No. Idea.

That’s awesome... I haven’t had time to study the entune system yet myself, will try this tomorrow

...waitaminute. is this like those printouts I like to post around the office that say "your copier has been upgraded with voice command"?

Pff. It's not like anyone can see my gullability. I'm gonna totally edit this post in a minute and say "nah you didn't fool me. You didn't. I knew it all along. I didn't have to try it out 'cause I'm smart."

I'll be damned. I stand corrected sir, there is indeed a weather map on entune. To be fair though, it took me three tries to get to it. The first two times it gave me directions to the nearest Discount Tire.

I've been under the rock with you! Is there a button I can hit instead of talking to the car?

I'm pretty sure you can just say "Show weather map".

You can also rearrange your app buttons (I think). I moved the Nav and weather apps to the far left of the screen (nav on top row, weather on bottom), so you can quickly hit apps, and then tap weather, adn then the bottom menu item is weather map. I think that's might be quicker than the show weater map voice command.

This is neat, and I really need to go through the Entune book and see if I can set up the Nav feature so it gives me voice directions.

Nope. Just live in California where the weather is usually 70 and sunny. Green spots on the map is crazy, almost a statewide emergency!

I think the radar and forecast depend on the reception of a HD FM station. For many this is usually no problem -- unless you venture into a more rural area -or live in one like me. I can get the weather and radar about half of the time.
