What issue are they having? Post the link if you can.

I am running Icon stage III. So far zero issues with the lift itself.

After I put on 1.5" spacers the tires began to rub a bit on the cab mount. I get the cab mount chop (CMC) done tomorrow. Essentially they trim a little off the fender and body mount. But no issues with the lift itself.

I'm running 285 70 R17. No diff drop. The only reason why I ran spacers is to give it a more aggressive look. If I took the spacers off it wouldn't rub.

So far I like the lift. The stage III coilovers are a little stiff but rides well. Not spongey like the stock OR bilsteins.

I had to bring the front end down since the picture above. The shop that installed it for me brought it up too high; past the 1.75" of thread that should be showing.

There is minimal rake, only about .5" lower in the front. Can't even notice really.

image.jpg Yes I did the Icon Add-A-Leaf (AAL). Here is an updated picture with the front Coilover at 1 3/4" passenger side and 1 7/8" drivers side to account for the Taco lean.

Did you have to install spacers with those wheels with that size tire or did you do it for looks?

It was done for an aggressive look. The setup did not require it. Because of the spacers it now rubs so I have to get the CMC. See above.

Rubbing has nothing to do with different coilover brands. You will rub the same with any brand you go with. If you read the "what you need to know about lifting a 3rd gen" thread, it says that the third gens are already riding an inch higher stock so you are limited to about 2" additional lift before your ride goes to shit.

Thanks, thats what i was wondering. I like those wheels and was just wondering of the back spacing was enough to clear 285's with a level kit

    I didn't read post #6

I have the stage 3 with 285/70/17 durtracs and I couldn't be happier. The CMC is definitely needed if you don't want to rub frame, but that is because of bigger tires not the lift. The only complaint I have about the lift is that it made me want to do a whole bunch of other expensive stuff to the truck (winch, armor, recovery gear, etc.).

I have recently had a stage 3 w/ tubular UCAs installed. I have a TRDRDC 4x4 w/ tow package. My installer removed one of the leafs in the rear on each side. Do you guys know if this is normal for my set up? Thanks for any input, there are not any installation instructions online for the 2016+ kits on the Icon site for me to check.

I only have about 1.5" of preload on my front CO and the the truck sits close to level. I was thinking of trying to get a little more height out of the front end, but didn't quite understand how I was already level.

I have a 2014 and I'm not sure what is required for the 2016. Ask around on the forum and someone that is more familiar with the 3rd gen will definitely help you out.

So the installer removed one of the leafs (load) on mine as well. It's done to get more flex. I'm thinking of having it put back in but it will ride higher and not be level

Does the icon stage 3 setup come with a new leaf pack? If so, how does it compare to Dakars? I will have a bed rack and RTT and gear in the back when going on trips.
