Does anyone else have a problem with bugs getting into their Tacoma?! I almost crashed today when one popped up on my steering wheel. Every damn day I’m scooping up a these stink bugs sometimes two or 3 from inside my car. I don’t get it! How are they getting in?? I’ve deep cleaned and took everything out more than once. And these stupid things keep popping up daily! We don’t have a problem with these around my house and I park in the middle of my 3 car driveway, not around any trees or bushes. Maybe the back power window?? I dont know. Any suggestions to if where to seal off would be appreciated. Can’t use bug spray because my daughter is only 1 and rides with me daily.

I've had a similar issue, but with a few spiders and once a fly of some sort when I was driving past a cattle ranch on the hwy. Not sure how they get in either. Haven't really investigated it though. I keep my windows up 95% of the time too.

Savvy consumers who bought the 4 cylinder engine don't have to put up with this sort of crap.

It's called the brown marmorated stink bug.
    Probably getting in this way
They enter under siding, into soffits, around window and door frames,

Mix water with mint oil and spray around doors weekly. Or put some catnip in the truck.

I haven’t even had my windows open yet. It’s seriously pissing me off. In the past month I’ve threw more than 40 of these ugly ass things out. I would say it’s an infestation for sure. I feel like a nest hatched

You're welcome. As @inwood customs mentioned, there are 4 vents behind the cover over the back wall where they could get in. You need the vents, but you could probably throw some catnip behind the cover and/or spray the mint oil mix back there as well.

Doors wont close properly. Gotta have a place for the air to displace when closing the doors

They allow your truck to vent. You do need them, though personally I've covered the back wall of my truck with Noico and MLV, so mine are mostly covered. You need them to account for air pressure when you slam doors and such.

Ugh. Okay I’ll try the catnip and mint spray on them. Are they behind the rear seats or where can I get to them?
