Definitely get dealer replacements. Best blades I’ve came across. And significantly cheaper

The ones that came on my 21 were awful. After a month switched to Bosch Icon and never looked back.

The OEM inserts are good enough. Not the best wipers out there, but pretty cost effective and easy to replace.

Nice name. Marginal performance and durability. Currently on 2 vehicles.

Unfortunately POs ditched the OE frame, so refills not an option w/o the purchase of new frames too. Which I will do before summer.

This being my first new vehicle I was kinda shocked to learn you could replace just the inserts! 3-4 dollars a piece! They work well and seem to last about 1.5y. I keep a spare set rolled up in the cubby in the bed.

Switched to the Bosch Icon a few years back. Tried many different blades, including the Michelen from Costco and were all mediocre at best. The Bosch are pricey but hands down best wiper blades I've ever used.

I haven't had to replace my truck blades yet but have always had best luck with the fully-covered so-called "snow" wiper blades on my car. They seem to be heavier and streak very little if at all and last a few years before falling apart. Plus they work great when it snows lol.

FWIW, I bought the OE inserts to replace mine, and it was NOT as easy as everyone says.
Edit: in concept, its as easy as everyone says.. that being said, I ended up poking the metal rods through the replacements, couldn't get the wiper arm tabs to stay in the correct groove of the new inserts, and ended up giving in to the Bosch Icons. For just a few dollars on the inserts, I'm happy I tried!

I looked at the thread straight away. I was interested in what others use, what their opinions were on blades they've tried, and to see if any one brand performs or out lasts another.

Was shocked to see some only get 1.5 years out of theirs! Obviously their environment.
Mine are the OEM. Originals from 2017. Used in both GA and CO, but much more in GA. Not garaged.
I don't have intermittent installed, but I hit the single wipe manually just as it would. I never run them longer than necessary and never on dry glass (more to protect the glass than wiper!).
I have tried the rain-x and waxing my glass, not sure if either has any effect on wiper life. *Some swear that rain-x causes wiper blade chatter. I haven't proved or dispelled that yet.*

I for one am glad to see the thread just so I can see others experiences. I'll prolly try OEM again next time. Cost is a huge part of the decision tho.

If you live somewhere with high humidity or lots of rain, buy the expensive blades...if you live somewhere that's more hot/dry like SoCal, get the cheap ones because they're just gonna dry out and have to be replaced every year anyways
