TRIVIA:
the monday before election has been green since the beginning of history.

looking for a nice push towards 3820 - 3850 on $SPX to take short positions down to 3250 BUT trimming half my position at 3560 to lock in profits as there's a big support zone in that area.
Not trading intraday today but waiting for my first target to hit to load bearish swing positions.
Will be taking a calendar or a diagonal down at 3300-3400 with $VIX is so low.

 

Amazon - doesn't actually make anything. They tried but failed, the kindles/I think they had a fire stick thing too?

Google - makes phones, but their OS is on a third party. IE Samsung.

Facebook/Meta - also, doesn't actually make anything. Who cares. They're all ad revenue BS.

I think a good comparison would have to be to add a couple major android phone sales into Google. Apple is a one stop shop, hardware and OS. Their streaming service is meh. Google does the OS, and their hardware doesn't make big sales. Add in a bunch of the major Android hardware and they're probably pretty close.

my single options will be january 2023 to minimize theta. i dont expeect to be holding more than 3 weeks. the move i'm looking at will be the next 2 weeks.
