    That NFT shenanigans reminds me of when eBay first came out. You would find people bidding on their own stuff with phantom accounts to drive the price up and then when they found the maximum someone would pay they would cancel the auction relist it and wait for that person to bid back up again.

    My first account was locked for that. My gf at the time was listing kids clothes using my account. She would then bid on her own auctions to peak interest. Next thing I know my account gets disabled because the same email address that listed the item was bidding on it.
