Well, after 23 years as the original owner of my 1996 Tacoma XtraCab, I sold it yesterday, April 4, 2019. I have ordered a 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport 4-door, which is actually being built today and will be here in a couple of weeks. I put down a deposit to order my new truck last week, and the next day, I thought I should go ahead and post my truck for sale on craigslist, as I didn't know how long it was going to take. Because my truck looks like new inside and out, and was in totally perfect like new condition, I had an asking price of $6995. I thought it was worth it, but even I knew that it was on the high end, even if my truck was in top condition. Well, yesterday a guy came by, looked at the truck, drove it around the block, and said he wanted it! He offered me $6700 cash, and I accepted. He went to the bank, got the money, came back, we did paperwork, and it was all over. As good as it felt to get that much money for the truck, at the same time, it was also somewhat sad to see my beautiful truck drive off down the street! In any case, as soon as I get my new truck, I will change my profile pic. Man, that was a great truck!
