I like how 35s on 18s still look beefy and not balloon like. Proportionally the 35s on 16s seemed a little like balloons to me.

I'm not a chrome guy but also not a chrome hater (and I know these are polished, not chrome), those look outstanding man.

 

Super cool wheels but unfortunate that they are 18’s. If you don’t want “more tire” then def rock them and go for it, but from a wheeling standpoint I wouldn’t go larger than 17’s.

Good clearance for the 35’s.

 

Yup, 285/75R18s. They cleared no problem, but previously I did an aggressive CMC, fender trimming, pinch weld hammering and the high clearance front bumper. The extra offset doesn't seem to be a problem.

 

Just seeing that inner rim stiffener even when mounted gives me a rim stiffener....

 

That's truly a nice set up there, just enough, not over done. A nicely cooked Taco.

You and craigslist, wtf. I'm jealous. Those wheels look awesome and I would run them as-is. IMO you'd be doing a disservice by painting them in any fashion.

Thanks for the love guys. I'm not an overlander and I'm not going to hardcore off-road the truck. I like the street tough look for a daily driver and the rear locker can get me out of most sticky situations I can put myself in. Otherwise I have d-rings and a recovery strap in the cab. I'm proud of how this truck has turned out.

 

Looks mint, never paint them!
