Totally agree. Love the color, but it sucks for wheel options. So here's my opinion. T4R Pro sema's are a great factory option, but kind of getting dated in appearance. Ray10's are sweet but in all black the wheel loses its appeal light doesnt really highlight the wheel design in black. Methods never was a fan. F5s are classic and tasteful. How deep is your pocketbook? Volk TE37x's in my opinion in black look killer on these trucks, but gonna cost you as much as a Kings setup.

I 100% agree with everything you said, my pockets are not $3000 deep for wheels though, I was hoping to be all in lift/tires/wheels for around that price.

I thought about doing gunmetal F5’s or Ray10s but feel like the colors clash with cement in certain lightings.

Back to the old drawing board I think :annoyed:

Dude welcome to the struggle bus with cement, I keep thinking I have something nailed down but not in love with and end up saying f-k it I'm keeping it stock. Cement is hard for sure, unless you want to be like everyone else and just rock some moto metal / fuel black wheels lol.

One option I thought may be cool, but a bit eccentric is the black ray's or BR6's with the blaze bronze lip, think it would set it off nicely.

Lol yeah, fuel or moto metals are fine on a diesel but don’t think I could rock them on a Tacoma, even though I do think the new fuel siege and rebel 6 look pretty sweet (on 20s).

But that may look pretty cool, if you end up dropping the cash on them you’ll have to post pics so I can use you as the guinea pig :p

If I lift it'll probably be those, but I havent talked myself into spending the money/lifting as it would be purely for show and all the disadvantages that come with that, etc. But sure does look cool ;)

Cough cough...I think bronze looks pretty good on cement...cough. I almost bought the 312's in bronze but sat too long and the sale ended.

I knew what wheels and tires I was getting before I even bought the truck. It's my favorite look for Tacomas and I like how well they go with silver.

I just picked 5 of these up for 860. Gonna add blue TRD stickers to match the rest of my blue highlights. Planning on wrapping them in Goodyear Duratracs in 255 75R 17 load range C20200625_125151.jpg

I'd say a bronze would always look good. Definitely a little different and good pop. I'm thinkin about a set of SR8's for myself, but as you stated, deep pockets

    Yep, there's a reason they're so popular.

    15673556109017489739998059399344.jpg

Although a ton of people have them on TW, in real life I've only seen them on a few trucks in my area. Here they all run stock, Ray10s or Methods.

People love the beadlock look and to me that's what's played out.

You said it right! On TW they seem played out but in reality folks on this site are the minority....9 out of 10 tacos I see daily are straight up stock rigs (no offense) but it's mostly what I've seen since owning my first taco for just over a year now.

I just installed my Matte Gray SCS Ray 10s - 17x8.5 w/ 4.3 backspacing and -10 offset. Stock-sized 265/65 r17s due to rubbing concerns. The offset definitely gives it a more aggressive stance.

SCS is a horrible company. Shit quality from Thailand. Most will say different but trust me, if you get a bad set your basically out 1300 bucks....

Really? This again? I’m starting to think your avatar is a real picture of you. Since you never answered my question when you posted this nonsense in another thread, I’ll repost my query here:

Man, I love this forum. So, just to be clear, your one bad experience offsets the hundreds of people on here who have had no issues with SCS and your word should sway potential buyers from not purchasing? Ok, I think I got it! o_O:crazy:

Absolutely! I hardly ever see them here in Nashville and when I do I get so excited to see another like-minded Tacoma owner that I almost throw them the Jeep wave.

Anyway, your truck looks awesome man, especially the wheels!
