While looking to replace my clutch pedal pad (looks like you just pull them off and pull a new one on). I noticed my clutch pedal switch bracket is bent - no gadam wonder I've had to push my pedal to the damn floor to start the car. Here's my plan, let me know what you think:

    1) going to soak the new pad in hot water for 10 minutes to get it soft enough to stretch over the metal.

    2) going to grab pliers and bend the clutch neutral switch plate back into position. Hopefully the metal will not crystalize and snap.Screenshot_20230116-143753.jpg Screenshot_20230116-141728.jpg

    Sound good?

    Don’t over bend it.
