    Has anybody done it?

With 34" tires, my truck needs it. I've emailed hypertech a few times and can't get a clear answer on availability.

They simply said the 2019 module isn't out yet.

Has anybody tried the existing 2018 module? Does it work for the 2019 truck?

    Thanks!

Exactly. I'm pretty disappointed with them. The only thing I can think of is they probably want to wait and see what the 2020 model needs to they only have to invest in a single update etc.

Still, pretty lame. I gave up waiting and went with the Rough Country model. I'm 99% sure it's a rebranded hypertech chip.

Everything seems to work with the exception of the cruise control value. This is of little concern to me.

so the RC model is for 2016-2018 models but works for the 2019? im guessing the cruise control issue is specific to using the older calibrator with the 2019? im assuming people using the calibrator specific to their model years are not having issues with the cruise control?

So...I can't help myself...With a title like "Speedo Calibration"...I don't live in California and I am fat and old, but I'd love to have my "Speedo calibrated" as it has bound up in the crotch for years...

I live in California, and the Rough Country website said this product is not allowed to be shipped into California. But since they sent it anyway, I'm giving them a great review.

Additionally I was concerned the postal service would slap a non-California tag on the package and send it back. They didn't either and it arrived so they get 5 stars for failing to fail me.

As far as calibrating your speedo, I would advise you seek medical attention if it has been bound up for that length of period.

So cruise control still reads off? Do you set it for the actual speed you want or do you still compensate for the tires i.e. set it at 58 to go 60

I live in southern Cal and I drive on the 5 daily. I don't know what cruise control is.

I read about it in a book once.

Thanks for letting us know! I was wondering if the previous year calibrators would work for my 2019, but didn't try it. I'll get the Rough Country now.

Very lame that hypertech couldn't get it done. I also emailed them a few times.

I'm more worried about city driving, where 3 mph can make the difference between a ticket or not (well, that can happen on the freeway too, but there is more leeway there).

    Lots, straight from the factory.
Left Washington in January. I don’t miss the 5. Not even a little bit. It was a shitty parking lot.

It's not going to be off by 3mph at all speeds. At around town speeds it will be really close.

Around here there are places where max speed is 60 mph, in town. 55 mph are all over the place. At that speed I'm already 2.something mph off.

If I'm already going 2 mph over the limit, and then the speedometer is off by another 2 mph, I'm in ticket territory. That's why it's annoying to not have accurate readings.
