Hub brass bushing wear manual locking hubs

    What would cause these brass bushings to wear so much? This is on a 99 with manual locking hubs. Passenger side is worse than the other. One of them has also worn out the needle bearing in the hub prematurely. The cv axles don’t have any kind of nut to over tighten just a spacer and a snap ring.
