Has anyone found a good way to stop things from sliding around in the bed while driving? Obviously, I've looked into bed mats but there's no way in hell I'm paying Toyota $200 for a piece of rubber, and everything else I've seen seems cheaply made. Has anyone come up with any other ideas? Maybe grip tape on the ridges or something

People sell the OEM mats used all the time. I paid 50 for mine. And ultimately, paying $200 for something that is a perfect fit, and isn't cheaply made, it's totally worth it.

Buy a flat piece of rubber and cut to size. I see some people are also using turf nowadays. Otherwise a lot of us use the factory tie downs.

I just strap things down... I have also heard on here the bed mats are not being made anymore. Not sure if that is true, i haven't looked for a bed mat.

I see two for sale local (to me) on FB marketplace for $100. I'd start there.

I use oem bed mat in conjunction with inexpensive bungie cords and the supplied tie down anchors that came with truck with no problem

look for a used OEM one from a 05 up, don't pay over $100 for it (buy & sell here, FBM, Craigslist, junk yard)

my speculation on the unavailability is that there is only one machine line that is used for the OEM LB mat and something broke that is taking time to fix/replace. 18 years of trucks should have replacement sales for several years.

Go to Tractor Supply and get a stall mat for horses - they're stupid heavy, but almost indestructible.

    About $60
