2023 double cab. The tear is on the back support in the back seat. It's about 2.5 inches long. It's a fairly clean tear.

I plan on putting a seat cover over it, but I wanted to stop the tear from growing. Are there patches or recommended repair methods for this kind of damage?

Thank you for any help you might have. Cheers!

Betsy Ross it with some thick thread. I've done many this way and they hold up great. If you don't have experience in sewing, learn.

cut a piece of fabric or vinyl larger than the tear. Slip it into the tear and super glue the seat fabric to the inserted piece. Has worked great for me in the past

A new hip invention called a needle and thread. :)

Just kidding OP. If you do sew it up, put a row of strong bar tack stitches at the top and the bottom of the tear to stop the it from propagating further.
