I'd like to remove my throttle body so I can manually clean it as well as the IAC valve.

I found a thread that does a pretty good job, but seems to leave out a few of the details, such as how to remove the throttle linkage, etc., etc.

Does anyone know of some (hopefully, detailed) instructions on how to remove the throttle body, etc.?

    Thank you,
    Ed

Any luck? I would like to do the same. I bought the haynes manual, but its not detailed enough for me.

Mark the lock nuts or put a piece of electrical tape around the threads in front of the lock nuts on the linkages and loosen the opposite side. Remove the cable from the holder and rotate the throttle to WOT and remove the cable ends by sliding the cable ends out of the holes. Install in opposite order, make sure lock nuts have not moved and retighten the other side lock nuts. Remove the air breather duct work, unplug the TPS and IAC plugs then vacuum lines(take pictures), remove the water lines from the bottom of the IAC/throttle body. Then remove the four nuts that are holding the throttle body to the intake. Fairly straight forward process, just take plenty of pictures and label lines and plugs.
