I've recently removed the glove box to access to the cigarette lighter power connection behind its panel. But I've had found none to show how to do it easily. So these pictures that I posted here with hope that it will help anyone in case of. Total of 15 pictures of its step by step from the beginning to the end.
    Good luck.

Bless you Sir for sharing this. I got to get to my inside AC unit to see where condensation is forming on the outside of the case and dripping into my Passenger floorboard. These pictures and captions help so greatly. I got to do this while it is running and dripping because I am afraid if I remove the box then drive it the airflow will be different and it may not drip. I may only have to apply some insulating tape to a few places on the AC case to get it to stop doing that. If that fails a strategically mounted small 12-volt double ball-bearing fan may be in order. Toyota changed the inside AC box and said that is all they can do. Still under warranty and was told Corporate just told them to give it back to me, unrepaired. I was assigned a caseworker over a month ago and can't get in touch with them. So I may have to do this myself and your .pdf's are a godsend. Thank you again!

Thanks for the excellent details! They helped immensely.

Sadly it didn't quite work as easily as I'd hoped, ie: pulling off the airbag.
"Grab with my hand and pull up" only felt like I was going to break the cover's plastic connecting points.

I finally saw the position of those airbag cover 'clips' that slip into the bottom of the glove box frame, and then pried at each point with a spudger-type of pry bar (theoretically non-marring). That finally released the airbag. I think pulling toward the rear (of the truck) on my 2022 worked better than pulling 'up'.
