Just undo the banjo bolt for the fuel rail and fuel will come spilling out and the pressure is relieved.

What makes you think it is the fuel pressure regulator?? Is it leaking ??

Unless things changed all that does is take the sharp spikes and smooth them out.

    Already changed the filter ??

It was just a hunch and it's easy to get to fuel pump has been changed fuel filter has been changed. I'm starting to think it's shitty gas from the truck sitting for a while.

Not getting any codes at all??

You have checked that the injectors are indeed firing ??

Electric side of fuel pump working ?? It almost sounds like your pump is energized when cranking but drops out on the run side of the circuit opening relay unless your getting one of the codes that shuts off the fuel.

    best of luck
