Can anyone recommend a product that can protect my cab from leaning objects such as ladders or lumber. Is there such a thing as a rubber stick on bumper, or something like this, that can be stuck on to the top rear of the cab?

I would like to be able to lean longer object against the cab without having a headache rack.

Or if there is a mountable roof rack that protect the rear of the cab?

Get a roof rack. Or a bed rack to keep them above the cab.

I have a Martin OR Roof Rack that has a aluminum crossbar across the back of the cab that protects well. Really love the setup. The rack is built by a TW member, Gage Martin, good guy, and he has a well built, affordable roof rack. He can be reached at @gmartin284

If it’s only occasional use, you can use a simple surfboard pad and bungee to the ohshit handles in the rear cab. OR If you’re willing to spend a little coin, you can buy these Sea Sucker suctions. I’m not a big fan of big racks unless really needed. I have a set of Yakima bed racks for big hauls, but they spend more time off the truck than on.
