How to jump fuel pump relay on 02 Toyota Tacoma 3.4

Aloha Toyota fam. Any thought or advice on how to jump a fuel relay to see if I have a bad fuel pump or a bad relay. I have a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 3.4, it turns over but it won’t run/start.

truck been sitting for 5 months and I’m guessing it’s the fuel pump. Or is there any way I can disconnect a fuel line to see if fuel shoots out.?

The battery has been charged or you have the charger on while cranking?

The fuel pump will only energize while cranking or with the engine running.

You have the EFI relay and the Circuit opening relay both can be tested .

Why was the truck parked ? It quit and sat till now? Did the MIL trip and was the code pulled ?

Find a copy of the EWD or maybe someone knows the color of the wire in the connector under the drivers seat of the wire going to the pump .

I don`t recommend pulling a fuel line to test for pressure as you have no idea if the injectors are working like they should.

 

If you suspect a relay just swap the relay with another same type under hood. Should be 3 that size
